We operate as a referral and introduction platform that connects merchants with third-party lenders and sales finance providers, and connects finance companies with merchants seeking consumer financing solutions for their customers.The Merchant Desk is not a lender, bank, financing company, or credit decision maker. We do not provide, fund, or administer financing programs directly. We do not hold any consumer funds, issue any financing products, or enter into financing agreements with merchants or their customers.
The Merchant Desk evaluates merchants, matches them to financing programs offered by independent third-party finance companies, and facilitates the introduction between merchant and lender. We assist merchants through the application, documentation, and onboarding process on behalf of the finance companies we work with.Our services to merchants are provided at no charge. We earn a commission from the finance companies we refer merchants to when a financing program is successfully placed.
All financing programs, approvals, credit decisions, rates, terms, conditions, and funding decisions are made solely by the applicable third-party finance company based on its own underwriting criteria, program requirements, and applicable laws.The Merchant Desk does not guarantee that any merchant will be approved for a financing program. The Merchant Desk does not guarantee that any consumer will receive financing. Submitting information through The Merchant Desk does not constitute an application for credit with The Merchant Desk and does not guarantee approval, funding, or the availability of any specific financing product.All financing products are offered by independent third-party finance companies. Any agreement entered into by a merchant, consumer, lender, or finance company is solely between those parties. The Merchant Desk is not a party to any financing agreement between a merchant, a consumer, and a finance company.
